Jessica Steen, a Canadian actress, is known for her role in Captain Power, the Soldiers of the Future and Homefront, Earth 2 and Armageddon. She also appeared in Left Behind: World at War and NCIS Flashpoint.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was born in Toronto (Ontario) to Joanna Noyes, an actor and director, as well as Jan Steen who is a actor and director. She is of Dutch and Scottish origin.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights activist and environmentalist, in addition to her business in entertainment. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a certified diver, and has a solid understanding of several circus arts, such as stilt-walking and fire-twirling.
